A Few Words About Us

LionHeart Riding Academy began in June, 2007 with one instructor, one lesson horse, and two students.  Five years later, we have three instructors, six horses, and over 30 students.  We believe that learning to ride isn’t just about learning how to be able to control a horse, but will teach a rider many valuable lessons that can be utilized in all areas of life.  Our riders learn to value safety, hard work, sportsmanship, persistence, teamwork- and most of all, FUN!

We are conveniently located just south of Columbia, about five minutes drive from Rock Bridge High School, and easily accessible from US Highway 63.

Our facilities include a six-stall barn and an indoor riding arena, as well as several outdoor riding spaces of various sizes and shapes.  Our lessons continue rain or shine.  We cancel lessons only in cases of very extreme temperatures- below 10 degrees or above 100, or in the event of severe weather such as ice or tornadoes.

For more information, to schedule a free visit and consultation (does not include a riding lesson), or to schedule a lesson, please call Kate at 573-823-2173.  We look forward to hearing from you!
