My children have always been encouraged/allowed/pushed to try new things, explore options, embrace life, and find that center that so many of us never seem to find but pray our children will. There have been times when I have lain awake at night wondering if they will ever be ignited by that spark, that one thing that turns the light on for them, provides purpose, joy, peace, love, happiness.

I started riding in the fall of 2010, after my sister, who had been riding there for two years.  I rode for a year and then started to work for my lessons in Summer 2012.  I am now working a few days a week as a groom.  I love LionHeart so much!  The people and animals have taught me so many things- confidence, respect, and strength.  I am so blessed to work and ride at LionHeart!  Ride with The Pride!

I started riding at LionHeart at the age of 16 as a shy and insecure high school student. So much has changed since then. After I started working and riding several times a week I came out of my shell and gained a lot of confidence. Being at LionHeart has taught me so much more than how to ride a horse. It has taught me to believe in myself, to never give up. This is no longer just a hobby for me- this is a way of life and I would not be the person I am today without it.
